Why Droplet?

Since 2008, Drs. Sean and Michelle Jungbluth established expertise in marine, estuarine, and freshwater research all over the world. They have planned studies involving the collection of water, plankton, and fish samples from shore, 15 foot Boston whalers to 300-foot Antarctic icebreakers, and other boats and ships in between. They have expertise in effective study design for collecting and getting valuable data from highly rare samples at the bottom of the ocean, in clear water, turbid water, or from the guts of sharks.

After working for over seven years running a University research laboratory and being awarded multiple research grants to do their own studies, they have decided to expand their work to provide their valuable expertise in aquatic molecular biology to provide science as a service to users beyond academia.
